 E X T R A C T

AWARD OF BRONZE STAR MEDAL

     By direction of the President, under the provisions of Army
Regulations 600=45, as amended, the Bronze Star Medal was awarded
by the Theater Commander to the following named personnel:

     MANRICO DUCCESCHI, Commander of Patriots of Apuania, Committee 
of National Liberation Northern Italy, for heroic achievement in
connection with military operations against the enemy from I March
to 2 May 1945.
